‘Somewhere someone is looking for what you have to offer.’

~ Louise Hay

You Are Allowed to Be Paid for What You Love to Do

""

a simple flower bouquet can be expression of our creativity

If you’re a creative person, you probably know this feeling: someone asks you to make something — a bouquet, a painting, a reading, a piece of writing, a plan for their garden — and instead of naming a price, you feel your stomach tighten. Or if you’re a coach, a counselor, a channeler — you give your wisdom freely, piece by piece, without asking for anything in return.

„Oh, don’t worry about it.” „I’ll just do it for free, it’s not a big deal.” „I couldn’t charge them, they’re my friends, my family.”

Sound familiar?

""

arts & crafts room or corner – where you can leave your staff unattended until the next time

Here’s the truth: talent is not the same as a hobby. When you spend years learning your craft — when you’ve studied flowers, colors, words, energy, design, life coaching — what you offer isn’t „just a favor.” It’s value. Real, tangible value that someone else cannot easily create themselves.

And here’s something even more important: someone is already willing to pay for it. Right now. Today. They just haven’t met you yet, or you haven’t shown them how.

The block, most of the time, isn’t the market. It’s not that people don’t want what you make. The block is inside — the old belief that charging money for something you love makes it less pure, less generous, less you. That earning from your gift is somehow greedy, and that it will offend your friends or family if you dare to ask for money for it.

Guess what — it isn’t.

""

people who are creative they need to see their creativity around them all the time to be happy. here is my floral bouquet created from the garden flowers.

Being paid fairly for your talent doesn’t diminish it — it protects it. It gives you permission to keep doing it, to get better at it, to say yes to it more often instead of squeezing it into the tired hours after your „real” job.

You don’t need a business degree to start. You need one small shift: deciding that your time and your gift are worth an exchange, not an apology.

So if you’re a florist, a painter, a coach, a channeler of energy, a maker of anything beautiful — start small. Set a price. Say it out loud without shrinking. Let someone pay you.

They will. They’ve been waiting for you to let them.

How are you rewarding your creativity on a day to day basis?
