How are you?<\/h3>\n

I trust that all is well in your life.\u00a0 Thank you for reading this blog post – I truly appreciate you being here.<\/h3>\n

I honestly never expected to wake up to another senseless war and international aggression. It feels overwhelming, sad, and scary. Where are we as humanity in 2026 if this is the way we resolve international problems and differences?<\/p>\n

\"\"So what can you and I do about it?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s focus on creating a beautiful and meaningful life for ourselves. In truth, we only have the power to influence our own actions and choices. When we choose to do something good in our lives, others often respond to that energy. By seeing more good in the world, they may feel inspired to reflect that goodness as well.<\/p>\n

There are many ways we can positively influence the people around us. Sometimes it means creating strong and healthy personal boundaries \u2014 like saying \u201cno\u201d to things we don\u2019t agree with.<\/p>\n

\"\"We can also vote with our money by supporting products or services that represent the good side of this world, and by contributing to the places, people, and charities we believe in.<\/p>\n

My favourite teacher on the planet, Abraham (www.abraham-hicks.com<\/a>), often says these days: \u201cFocus on yourself. Focus on your life.\u201d Perhaps this is exactly what we can do in today\u2019s world \u2014 take care of our world: your world, my world, our world.<\/p>\n

Here are a few other small things you and I can do during these days and beyond:<\/p>\n

Offer random acts of kindness.
\nVisit a neighbour who lives alone.
\nCall an elderly person who may have lost many friends and feels lonely, and simply ask how they are doing.
\nSpeak kindly to someone who works in a supermarket or another busy place, often on their feet all day, and ask how their day has been.<\/p>\n

And of course, you can add your own favourite acts of kindness to this list.<\/p>\n

We can choose to focus on that beauty. From that place, beautiful and positive thoughts \u2014 and actions \u2014 can grow.<\/p>\n
